Although the cost is high, their safety and reliability are high. Welded steel pipes are generally used as low-pressure fluid transportation pipes within 2Mpa. High-temperature and high-pressure equipment such as industrial boilers must use seamless steel pipes, and the thickness of the pipe wall is correspondingly thickened. Welded steel pipes are now also used in medium and low-pressure boilers, thanks to the rapid improvement of welding technology. For example, when pipes are butt-welded to friction-welded steel pipes, the microstructure of the joints is no different. Moreover, after the pipe seams are remelted through butt joints and corner joints, it is difficult to observe the seam marks with the naked eye. The microstructure of its parts has become the same as that of friction-welded steel pipes. It’s the same as at the seam.
